Area & Activities

No matter what you're looking for on your Costa Rica vacation, this oceanfront vacation rental home offers you endless possibilities.

Located little more than an hour from the airport in Liberia, or forty-five minutes from either Tamarindo or Santa Cruz, the village of Junquillal is easily accessible but not overly developed. Local tour guides can arrange horseback, zip line, or jungle river tours; and hiking, caving, birding, mountain biking, scuba diving, or deep sea fishing adventures.

Just two miles to the north (a half hour walk on the beach) is the world class surf of Playa Negra. A five minute walk brings you to the long, flat expanse of Playa Junquillal and its Turtle Nesting Sanctuary, which has received global recognition. From the lawn of Coco Flotante watch for low tide at Playa Blanca and you’re only two minutes away from fantastic snorkeling. Palo Verde National Park is one hour from the house and Rincon National Park is two. If you are passionate about golfing, one of Costa Rica’s finest golf courses is located a half hour away at the luxurious Hacienda Pinilla.
